Position Description

Care in the Heart of Whitmore Lake: Join a Dedicated Home Team

Imagine a nursing shift where the "hustle" of a hospital is replaced by the quiet rhythm of a lakeside home. We are looking for a compassionate LPN or RN to support Matt, a man in his early 40s who lives with his mother and sister. While Matt is non-verbal and paralyzed, he has a strong presence and a family that is deeply committed to his comfort.

This isn't just a clinical role; it’s an opportunity to provide the kind of dedicated, one-on-one care that allows a son and brother to thrive in the place he loves most.

️ The Schedule

Thursdays & Sundays | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

A Day in the Life

Your Day Will Include

  • Respiratory Support: Keeping his lungs clear using a nebulizer and a cough assist machine three times a day.
  • Nutrition: Managing his feeding tube and ensuring his daily intake is on track.
  • Safe Movement: Using a ceiling lift for transfers—allowing you to move the client safely and comfortably without physical strain.
  • Physical Therapy: Coordinating with the family to get him ready for his weekly PT appointments.
