Akron Children's Hospital would like to cordially invite you to the “Orthopedic Internal Fixation: A Hands On Guide to the Nuts and Bolts of Surgery” Course on January 12, 2019 in Akron at The Austen Bioskills Lab (TABL).
This unique course will be directed by Pat Riley, Sr., MD and Debbie Hawk, RN both of Akron Children's Hospital and will be sponsored by DePuy Synthes.
This is a hands on, 5-hour course intended to teach the basics of internal fixation. It will review basic implants, instrumentation, and concepts of fracture fixation. The participants will become more proficient and confident in the proper use of various orthopedic implants and their instrumentation. This course has been specifically designed for any surgical techs, nurses, surgical assistants, PAs or residents who want to improve their knowledge of Orthopedic Internal Fixation.
